The question
pops up when ordering headers. Do I have an EGR? Do I need it?
Yes, if
the Ranger is equipped with an EGR you should keep it to meet emissions requirements.
The following
are pictures showing the egr tube on a 2004 4.0 Ranger. The first shows the
ending spot (away from the header/manifold). It is located under the throttle
body cover. Part of the tube is covered with a black heat shield.
This picture
shows the tube entering the Exhaust manifold.
